Detailed Job Description:
financial statutory reports. Duties include the development
of typical components of financial statements, as well as
various statistical and supporting schedules. Statutory
reports refer primarily to those required by the
Pennsylvania Insurance Department, which must comply with
Statutory Accounting Principles. Also responsible for the
generation and maintenance of Lawson generated reports and
submission of reinsurance claims.
Works under the supervision of the Director of Financial
Reporting.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Demonstrates well-developed technical skills including
spreadsheet and mainframe applications.
Demonstrates initiative, a professional attitude and a
desire for self-improvement
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required.
Minimum two years accountant level experience and working
knowledge of financial statement preparation and analysis
required. Experience with statutory accounting principles
(SAP) preferred.
