Detailed Job Description:
Municipal Accountant - Potential Career opportunity!
Our client is seeking a person who has a minimum of 3-5
years of Accounting experience in a Municipal setting to
help them on an Interim basis for 2-3 months. This
position would be handling: General ledger, Journal
Entries, Reconciliations, Month end close, cash
applications, assist with budgets (not mandatory) and
general accounting duties as assigned. For the right
individual who has MBA, CPA, 7 years of municipal
experience, Finance Director level experience, budgeting
experience and strong technical/IT skills this position
could lead to further opportunities with this
organization. However, the preceding requirements are
not mandatory for the interim position. Pay range for
this full time position is $22-$40/hour depending on
experience and qualifications.
