Detailed Job Description:
MEDICAL COLLECTOR
We are currently assisting a local Tampa Bay client with
their search for Medical Collectors. There are multiple
positions available. These Medical Collectors will be
responsible for the follow up collections of Medicare
and United Healthcare insurance claims. The collectors
will process the denials and appeals from the insurance
companies.
Requirements:
*2+ years of medical collections experience
*Experience with Medicare and/or United Healthcare
insurances
*Medical collections, appeals, denials, and follow up
experience is a must
*Associates degree is preferred
*Detail oriented, ability to multi-task, professional
yet assertive and personable demeanor when handling
phone calls
This is a temp-perm opportunity looking to interview and
start ASAP.
The salary range is $16-20/hr depending on experience.
